Psalm 108:1-5
My heart is steadfast, O God!
I will sing and make melody with all my being!
Awake, O harp and lyre!
I will awake the dawn!
I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples;
I will sing praises to you among the nations.
For your steadfast love is great above the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens!
Let your glory be over all the earth!
Praise God from whom all blessings flow
Praise Him all creatures here below
Praise Him above ye heavenly host
Praise Father Son and Holy Ghost
Verse 1
Let there be light light in the darkness
And let the light and darkness
Each be called by name
Now let the Moon shine in the evening
Set up the Sun to be the ruler of the day
Verse 2
Let there be space call it the heavens
Let the expanse go out forever far as time
Gather the seas dry off the high lands
Let there be room for all my glory soon to shine
Chorus
And the joy of the Lord in the work of his hands
Overflowed and the Maker proclaimed
It is good It is good
Come behold all I’ve made
It is good
Verse 3
Spring up O plants Green vegetation
Let every tree give seed and fruit
That serves its kind
Flowers and fields yield in abundance
Cover the earth with every beauty in my mind
Verse 4
Let there be life full and abundant
Let there be creatures swarming
All the earth and skies
Fill up the sea play in the ocean
Breed and increase
And bring your maker great delight (Chorus)
Verse 5
Let us make man bearing our likeness
Let us create them to continue all we’ve made
Give them our breath crown them with glory
Let them be kings and queens
To fill the earth and reign
Verse 6
Children of God heirs of creation
Come let us join our Maker for He still creates
All of our time talent and labor—
Is He not worthy of the best our hands can make (Chorus)
Praise God from whom all blessings flow
Praise Him all creatures here below
Praise Him above ye heavenly host
Praise Father Son and Holy Ghost
Praise God from whom all blessings flow
Praise Him all creatures here below
Praise Him above ye heavenly host
Praise Father Son and Holy Ghost
